Our mission is to empower and educate young people who are affected by the street life and the unseen forces that shaped their realities. We create clothing that serves as a symbol of resilience and awareness. Our objective is to inspire a sense of identity and strength. Through our designs we aim to cultivate a community that breaks the cycle of oppression. We encourage togetherness, and liberation.
About the brand
Street Victim Clothing was created by four people who fell Victim to the hardships that life has to offer. They all came from backgrounds, plagued by violence and drugs, and from dysfunctional families which limited their choices due to the lack of available resources.
Two of the original founders of the brand are now deceased, one is in prison, and the other is an alcoholic, traumatized by the things that have happened to them. I realized that their stories needed to be told because they weren't alone. I can see the problems that is affecting us all mainly black.people. We all are living with trauma, much of which has been passed down through generations. Some of us perpetuate the cycle and are not aware of it. We are being targeted by the hidden hand from every angle whether it is the government or big corporations. We are sheep amongst wolves.
Education is the tool that we can use to fight back and become who we were meant to be. The type of education I am speaking of is the one that teaches unification and leads to liberation. One is not free until we are all free. This brand belongs to us all, it's made by us and it's for us.
